Camp Activities

Gas Detection with Primus X Controller

Participants will dive into advanced drone technology as they explore the Primus X onboard controller and its sensors, such as the MQ2 gas sensor. They will learn to detect levels of different gases in the surroundings, expanding their understanding of environmental monitoring.

Temperature Trend Tracking

Campers will leverage the capabilities of Databots and drones to monitor temperature variations concerning changes in altitude. Through data collection and analysis, they uncover patterns and trends, deepening their understanding of temperature dynamics in different environments.

Air Quality Monitoring

Campers will take on the role of environmental stewards as they collaborate to monitor air quality using Databots and drones. They will track AQI levels and pollutants in the air, employing data to send alerts when air quality is compromised, contributing to environmental awareness and action.

Weather Prediction

Campers will harness the power of Databots and drones to monitor sunlight intensity and humidity levels. By analyzing data trends, they predict upcoming weather events, sharpening their meteorology and environmental science skills.

Bootcamp

Get ready to dive into the world of data with the Databot controller! Campers will be introduced to the Databot and its array of onboard sensors. They’ll learn how to collect and visualize data, gaining valuable insights into the power of data technology. They will also explore the dynamic duo of drones and Databots. Campers will discover how Databot controllers enhance drone functionality for data collection. They’ll delve into the applications of drones in sensing and tracking, using sensors to detect altitude, air pressure, and analyze trends in atmospheric changes.

Navigation with GPS and Altitude Sensors

Campers will navigate the skies with precision using GPS modules and altitude sensors onboard drones. They will learn to interpret data collected from these sensors, honing their skills in drone navigation and enhancing their understanding of spatial awareness.
