RoboWizards

Build, Code & Play

Grades 1 - 4 (Ages 6 to 11)

Calling all young inventors, curious thinkers, and fun lovers! Do you love constructing, solving challenges, and making things move? Then get ready for an exciting hands-on STEM & Makers adventure where creativity meets technology! Imagine a world where wheeled robotic vehicles respond to sound, detect colours, and perform exciting manoeuvres with ease!

Go beyond basic building blocks or remote controlling pre-assembled robots with the RoboWizards, a MeerKats & Mean Machines Summer Camp where you not only get to code simple movements, but also explore problem-solving through fun and interactive activities. Over 6 engaging days, young campers will discover the basics of robotics and controllers, unravel the mysteries of programming, and explore the interplay between sensors and actuators.

Camp Itinerary

Introduction to Robotics and Motion

Make way for the RoboWizards to take their first steps into the world of robotics. From building the semi-assembled Robbie to making it move through hands-on instruction. Experimentation

Sensors and Smart Reactions

Our RoboWizards move ahead working with different sensors integrated in the Robbie to make it aware of its surroundings and avoid obstacles and hurdles.

Programming Basics

Students are introduced to block coding and logic programming, where they don’t have to just limit their ideas to a joystick, but advance ahead making Robbie function as they like.

Capstone Challenge: Build, Test & Refine

The young innovators  bring their logic to test by coding, enhancing, testing, and improving their Robbie. They use simple design and code blocks to help Robbie solve the maze.
