Welcome to AI Powered Robotics 101 !
AI Powered Robotics is an exciting, hands-on deep dive into the world where robotics meets artificial intelligence. This camp empowers students to get started on the journey to build intelligent machines, train AI models, and think like real-world engineers and designers. From mastering sensors and microcontrollers to creating AI-enabled robotic systems, its all about building skills that power tomorrow’s technology.
6 Day Activity Journey
Day 1: Robotic Bootcamp
Campers kick off with a strong foundation in robotics essentials — sensors,microcontrollers, and actuators. Through mini challenges, they learn how robots sense the world, process information, and take action, building confidence with hands-on microcontroller programming.
Day 2: Gesture-Controlled Rover
Using robotics concepts and wireless radio communication, campers build and program a gesture-controlled rover. They explore how data is transmitted, interpreted, and converted into movement bringing human interaction and robotics together.
Day 3: AI Meets Robotics
An exciting introduction to Artificial Intelligence. Campers train their own AI models using images, voice, and body poses, learning how machines learn from data. They also get to build a Project Integrating AI models with robotics to create intelligent, responsive machines.
Day 4: Design Thinking & Capstone Planning
Campers are introduced to the Design Thinking process — empathize, ideate, prototype, and test in preperation to brainstorming real-world problems to which they apply thier knowledge of Robotics as part of their Capstone Project. This is an opportunity for them to combine robotics, AI to come up with a Design Sketch and blueprints to begin building the prototype.
Day 5: Capstone Build & Presentation Prep
A full build day where campers bring their ideas to life. They build, test and refine their prototypes, debug systems, and finally get it to work and solve the probelm forthe user they have defined. Then they get to prepare presentations that explain their design choices, technology used, and impact.
Day 6: Presentation Day
Campers present their Working Prototype to thier peers, parents and any other guests, demonstrating learnings in their creations and graduate with a certificate of completion.
